Types of Scaffolding Available: Exterior
For external scaffolding we have a system that is structurally easier to setup
then the key clamp system. In addition to this, it still gives the same amount
of stability as the older scaffolding.
The basic setup is placing two H’s facing one another. Two bars are placed on
each side to strengthen the structure. The system could be repeated for any
desired length, or stacked on top of each other for any wanted height.
Base legs are available in different lengths so as to straighten the H’s, when
found on slopped surfaces.
Metal planks are used as base floors. Planks easily attach to the tops of the
H’s.
What has already been described above is the basic scaffolding composition. Due
to safety standards other attachments are required.
